Art offers an opening for the heart.
True art makes the divine silence in the soul
Break into applause.

Art is, at last, the knowledge of
Where we are standing--
In this Wonderland
When we rip off all our clothes
And this blind man's patch...

You will find yourself knee-deep in ecstasy
When all your talents to love
Have reached their heights...

True art awakes the
Extraordinary
Ovation.

....: The Tree Project is a multimedia installation exploring issues of environmentalism and agriculture in Wisconsin. The project involves capturing photos, video and audio of specific trees around the state, and displaying the materials in an interpretive context touching on history and the environment.

....: Bound looks at the various things that hold and constrict us as individuals, and by showcasing many individuals, as a society. Shot medium format in both color and black and white, these powerful images will be thought-provoking and inspiring to the viewer as they explore their personal relationship to what binds them.

....: For Urban, I'm exploring the manner in which the audience constructs a story through provocative imagery.

....: For Interactions, I will select a single day at random, and make portraits, chronologically, with everyone with whom I interact in a day. The portraits will be made as a core representation of our interaction. For definition purposes, an 'interaction' will be any realtime interaction between myself and another, from innocuous eye contact to the most intimate interactions possible. These interactions will take place in real space, and could be with friends, acquantences or strangers.

....: Portraits have always fascinated me, and I'm always looking for more people of whom to make a picture.

....: Organic Entropy explores entropy, chaos theory, mortality and the temporality of objects.

....: In Cafe Sensual, I am exploring ideas of sensuality. By combining text from the Song of Solomon with both tradional and non-traditional visual representations of sensuality, I'll challenge the traditonal notions of sensuality. These images will be made and manipulated digitally.
